Hey guys I've been writing poetry for a few years and I can definitely say I've improved ALOT from when I was 12 when I first started doing this. People who went to Shepard Middle School with me probably remember the poems I read over the intercom in the morning for Black History Month.....orrr maybe you don't haha. Either way the point is I've been doing this for a while and I've chosen a FEW of what I feel is my best work. It usually takes me about 2 or 3 days to complete poems like these (ones that have a lot of emotion.) Its because I find it so hard to put m emotions into words because I get caught up in the moment when writing because so much axiety is building up. These poems were from a while back so I havent written anything in a while.
